1. General information
1.1 What does processing of personal data mean?
When using the ArenaFans app (hereinafter referred to as “ArenaFans”), various personal data are collected about you. We collect data that identify you or make you identifiable together with other information (name, e-mail address, IP address, etc.). We will provide you with the following information about the processing of your personal data at ArenaFans.

If you want to object to certain or all processing of your data, you can do so using the contact details provided above. Please note, however, that you may then only be able to use ArenaFans to a limited extent or not at all.
2. How are the data processed?
2.1 Access and use of ArenaFans
Every time you use ArenaFans, usage data are transmitted and stored in log files. Usage data may be, for example, date and time of accessing the app, IP address, amount of data transferred as well as product and version information of the device used.
This processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 b), f) GDPR (user relationship, legitimate interest). As the operator, we have a legitimate interest in providing you with ArenaFans with the corresponding content and thus enabling you to access the ArenaFans community. We require your data in order that ArenaFans can be operated and used by you.
We evaluate the log files in anonymised form to further improve ArenaFans and make it more user-friendly, to find and fix errors more quickly and to control server capacities. For example, we can understand at what time ArenaFans is used particularly frequently. Your IP address will be deleted or anonymised after termination of use. In the case of anonymisation, we change your IP addresses in such a way that they can no longer be assigned to you or can only be assigned to you with a disproportionately large amount of time, costs and effort.
2.2 Login
2.2.1 Login with new profile
You need to register in order to be able to use ArenaFans. Therefore, you have to enter your real name and e-mail address and choose a password. Please keep it safe. If you forget it, you can use the “forgot password” feature and create a new password. When you register, you are also asked to enter a username. This username will be displayed to other sports fans during all your activities at ArenaFans.
This processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR (user relationship). In order to use ArenaFans, you shall provide your data when registering.
We only delete your registration data once you have deleted your profile, there are no statutory retention obligations and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
2.2.2 Login via Facebook
To use ArenaFans without registering separately with us, we offer you the option to log in via Facebook, provided you have a Facebook account. The Facebook login is a service of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland.
Therefore, you will be redirected to Facebook for the registration. You can then log in with your login data. Due to this connection between ArenaFans and Facebook, we receive various public data from you (e.g. Facebook name, profile picture, e-mail address, friends list, preferences, etc.). When redirecting to Facebook, you will be shown which data are transferred to us. Through your privacy settings on Facebook, you can control which of your data are displayed publicly and can therefore be transferred to us.
We do not use all the data provided by Facebook, but only those that allow us to complete your profile at ArenaFans. This processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR (user relationship) and the provision is necessary for the registration.
We only receive additional data if you have consented to this. The same applies to the transfer of your data from ArenaFans to Facebook. In this case, the processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR. Your consent is given voluntarily.
We delete your personal data if you have deleted your profile, there are no statutory retention obligations and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
We delete data that we process under Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR if you have withdrawn your consent and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
The privacy provisions https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/ and terms of use https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms of Facebook shall apply to the processing of your personal data at Facebook. By using the Facebook login, data may also be transferred to the USA and other third countries. The data transfer takes place on the basis of the adequacy decisions applicable to certain countries and on the basis of agreed standard contractual clauses. 2.2.3 Login via Google
To use ArenaFans without registering separately with us, we offer you the option to log in via Google, provided you have a Google account. The Google login is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Therefore, you will be redirected to Google for the registration. You can then log in with your login data. Due to the connection of ArenaFans and Google, we receive from Google various data from you (e.g. name, profile picture, e-mail address, etc.).
We only use the data provided to complete your profile at ArenaFans. This processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR (user relationship) and the provision is necessary for the registration.
We only receive additional data if you have consented to this. The same applies to the transfer of your data from ArenaFans to Google. In this case, the processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR. Your consent is given voluntarily.

2.2.4 Login via Apple
To use ArenaFans without registering separately with us, we offer you the option to log in via Apple, provided you have an Apple ID. The Apple Sign In with the Apple ID is a service of Apple Distribution International Limited, Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland.
Therefore, you will be redirected to Apple for the registration. You can then log in with the Face ID or Touch ID. You can allow Apple to share your name and e-mail address with us. Furthermore, you have the option to edit your name. However, don’t forget that you are required to enter your real name in addition to your freely selectable username when using ArenaFans. Moreover, Apple allows you to choose any e-mail address registered with Apple to log in to ArenaFans. Alternatively, you can hide your e-mail address. In this case, another randomly selected e-mail address is used. Our messages will then be forwarded to your actual e-mail address via this e-mail address, so you can communicate with us without giving us your e-mail address.
This processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR (user relationship) and the provision is necessary for the registration.

2.3 Around the arena
At ArenaFans, you have the possibility to rate the arenas during or after your visit in different categories. You can give stars and add free texts. Furthermore, you can upload photos of your arena visit. If you give a review or upload a photo, your username and your profile picture will automatically be displayed to other sports fans.
This processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR (user relationship). The assignment to your profile is required for the use of ArenaFans.
We only delete your personal data if you expressly request us to do so and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
2.4 ArenaFans ranking
You can collect points in our ranking system with every review you submit. The status of the current ranking can be viewed by all sports fans at any time. You can then see directly how well you are doing compared to other sports fans. You can view the total ranking as well as a ranking according to the individual evaluation categories. Hence, you can see how strong you are in specific areas.
The processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest is to create an incentive for your activities on ArenaFans and to reward this by the appearance in the ranking. However, your appearance in the ranking is not mandatory.
We only delete your personal data if you expressly request us to do so and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
2.5 Social media
In our YouTube channel, we like to report about ArenaFans and the current events in the sports world. If you have uploaded an interesting photo or comment, or if you are far ahead in the rankings, we may mention you with your username in our reports. If you don’t want us to do so, please send us a message.
The processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest is to increase the popularity of ArenaFans and to reward you for your efforts. However, it is not necessary to mention your username.
We only delete your personal data if you expressly request us to do so and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
2.6 Fan surveys
In order to improve ArenaFans and to know which topics are of interest to you, we will ask you to participate in a fan survey by push notification.
This processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR (consent). Sending push notifications and participating in surveys is voluntary.
We only delete your personal data if you expressly request us to do so and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
2.7 Feedback and help centre
If you have any problems with ArenaFans or would like to give us feedback, please feel free to do so. There are various features available in our app for this purpose.
This processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR (user relationship) or Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR (legitimate interest). We have a legitimate interest in receiving feedback from you in order to continuously improve ArenaFans and to better meet your needs. Your contact with us and the submission of your feedback are voluntary.
We only delete your personal data if you expressly request us to do so and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
2.8 Advertising
In order to provide ArenaFans free of charge, we need to display advertisements to you.
The display of advertisements is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR (legitimate interest). We have a legitimate interest and are economically dependent on financing the provision of ArenaFans through advertising revenues. The provision of your data for marketing purposes is voluntary.
We only delete your personal data if you expressly request us to do so and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
2.9 Firebase Analytics und crash reporter
We use the analysis service Firebase of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which collects various information (e.g. about your operating system, device model, region, ID, IP address, etc.) in the context of using ArenaFans. The collected information is transferred to a Google server in Ireland and stored there. If necessary, the data may also be transferred to the USA. Google has agreed to corresponding standard contractual clauses for the transfer of data to the USA. Google will use this information to evaluate the use of ArenaFans in order to compile reports about the activities on ArenaFans for us.
No direct personal data are stored during use, only the IP address. This information is used to automatically identify you the next time you access the website. The IP address is anonymised so that only a shortened IP address is transmitted to Google.
This processing is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR (consent). You can decide for yourself whether to allow the use of Firebase as part of your use of ArenaFans.

2.10 Apple Maps
We use Apple Maps to show you the exact location of the arenas on the interactive map and to navigate you there. This is a service of Apple Distribution International Limited, Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland.
When using the map service, various data such as search terms, navigation routes and traffic information are collected and linked to a random identifier. There is no linking with your Apple ID. Only if you share reviews or photos with the map service, a link with your Apple ID is established. When searching, your location will not be forwarded to Apple servers. In addition, your location will be converted to a less accurate location after 24 hours. By using the map service, data can be transferred to third countries and, in particular, to the USA. The use of Apple Maps is permitted according to Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR (consent). When using ArenaFans, you can decide for yourself whether to allow access to your location data. You can make changes at any time. The use of the map service is voluntary.
3. Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data: You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) as well as data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
In addition, you have the right to contact a supervisory authority.
If your personal data are processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR, you have the right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR). If you object to direct marketing, we will no longer send you advertising messages.
You can withdraw your consent given to us at any time with effect for the future. However, the data processing remains unaffected until withdrawal based on this consent. Depending on the case, the withdrawal can either be made directly via the setting in the app or has to be declared to us (to the contact details above).
4. To whom are the data transferred?
The data collected when using ArenaFans are transmitted to our servers and stored there. In addition, your data may be transferred to our employees who are involved in the processing (IT, customer service). Other potential recipients are processors (e.g. data centre, IT service provider) and contractual partners. The transfer to these recipients takes place either on the basis of a statutory obligation on our part, for the necessary use of ArenaFans or as part of data processing.
